Jaren Glasker, safety manager at the Little Caesars World Headquarters campus expansion, is one of the many hardworking crewmembers bringing The District Detroit to life.

Born and raised in Detroit, Glasker has worked in the construction industry for 17 years, and today he’s keeping workers safe and sound as they bring the project to completion.

The new office building is already towering above Woodward Avenue since crews have completed building structural steel and now begin the process of building walls, installing electrical and HVAC systems throughout.

The Little Caesars World Headquarters campus expansion is one of several incredible new developments that are transforming The District Detroit. The project includes many Detroit-based contractors leading the construction of this new nine-story, 234,000 square-foot office building—the first newly-built global headquarters building in the city of Detroit in a decade.

“It’s making a real positive impact on Detroit,” said Glasker. “If we can get more residents working and developing skills it just makes this a better city.”

Construction of the Little Caesars World Headquarters is being led by Brinker-Christman, a Detroit-based company as construction manager and includes many Detroit-based subcontractors such as Blaze Contracting and Midwest Steel.

Little Caesars and Olympia Development of Michigan broke ground on the $150 million Little Caesars World Headquarters campus expansion in September 2016 and it is expected to be completed in 2018. It will be The District Detroit’s largest new construction in the Columbia Street  neighborhood, which is also home to the spectacular Fox Theatre, a National Historic Landmark—as well as City Theatre, Hockeytown Café, the Fillmore Detroit and more.

Twenty-seven years after moving its headquarters from the suburbs to Detroit’s Fox Office Center in the heart of downtown, Little Caesars is more than doubling the size of its current campus in Detroit to accommodate the company’s rapid global growth and hiring.
