Tddnight Jla Thumb

Get ready for another exciting night at the Joe as we host The District Detroit Night January 14. The Detroit Red Wings will take on the Pittsburgh Penguins and fans at the game will be showered with co-branded swag, exciting giveaways and the opportunity to learn about the progress happening in Detroit’s incredible sports and entertainment destination in 2017.

We’re giving away limited-edition Detroit Red Wings/The District Detroit hats to the first 7,500 fans through the gates at Joe Louis Arena. The District Detroit Night will also commemorate the Farewell Season at the Joe, the home of the Detroit Red Wings for 38 years. The team’s new home, Little Caesars Arena, is under construction now at the center of The District Detroit and will be completed by September.

Little Caesars Arena will host the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Pistons beginning in the 2017-2018 season and will be the premier entertainment venue in the region for concerts, family events and shows.

“Our fans are the best in the league and deserve the very best experience when they come to a game or a show,” said Tom Wilson, president and CEO of Olympia Entertainment. “We look forward to giving them this chance to get a first-hand look into what’s planned for The District Detroit and everything they have to look forward to – new places to live, work and play coming online around our new home at Little Caesars Arena and beyond. It’s making an amazing destination even more exciting, and we’re thrilled to welcome our fans to the new arena and The District Detroit next season.”

Tickets for The District Detroit Night are available by visiting or by calling 313-471-7575.
