Students Inspiring Students: Finding a Career Path

Chris Curtis Thumbnail

Coming into his 10 week internship, Chris Curtis was unsure of what career he wanted to pursue.

“I didn’t know what to expect coming into this internship,” said Curtis. “But I knew whatever it was that I learned, it would be beneficial to my future”

After spending time in an office environment, Curtis was encouraged by co-workers and now is confident he’ll pursue a career similar to his experience at Little Caesars Pizza Kits.

Curtis is an intern with Little Caesars’ Pizza Kits assisting in fundraisers and other great projects.

He is one of 24 students from Cass Technical High School who are currently interning for Detroit Tigers, Olympia Entertainment, Little Caesars and other Ilitch Companies.

Working with Pizza Kits, Curtis has built good relationships and has had an experience that he’ll take with him into college and his career.

Curtis plans to pursue a business or architecture degree at the University of Michigan in the beginning of fall 2017.
