Sports fans and concertgoers traveling to Little Caesars Arena and other venues in The District Detroit can now order food, secure parking, purchase tickets and connect to customer service within one convenient mobile app.

Olympia Entertainment, Olympia Development of Michigan and Venuetize mobile technology company debuted The District Detroit Mobile App presented by XFINITY upon the arena’s opening on September 12.

“We have launched a “one-stop shop” mobile app that integrates multiple event and location-related activities to enhance the guest experience across The District Detroit,” said Tom Wilson, president and CEO of Olympia Entertainment.

Before leaving home, fans can use the app to find events in The District Detroit, purchase tickets and parking and secure the best route to parking lots and venues. Upon arrival, arena guests can order and pay for concessions food and beverages from the comfort of their seats.

Other app benefits include ticket forwarding and reselling, 3D maps boasting turn-by-turn navigation and easy entry into the arena, when linked to a guest’s Ticketmaster account. In addition, the app’s quick incident alert system can quickly connect season ticket holders to their account representative.

Patrons of other venues—including the historic Fox Theatre and Fillmore Detroit—can also buy tickets and parking to shows. Special partner experiences, such as My Meijer Locker Room and the Budweiser Designated Driver Program, have also been integrated into the app.

“Entertainment districts and mixed-use development projects will eventually form the nucleus of ‘smart cities,’ which is exactly what Venuetize’s platform has been designed and architected to serve,” said Karri Zaremba, co-founder and COO of Venuetize.

Future app features will include a virtual assistant that will answer guests’ questions and help them discover relevant content within the app.

The District Detroit App is available on the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store.
