Catalina Colangelo

Catalina Colangelo-van Meek is a 12-year-old with a talent for drawing street chalk art. Some of her finest work includes Disney and Peanuts characters as well as Sesame Street favorites. “Cata” was inspired to draw during the pandemic last summer with a desire to bring smiles to those passing by to see her creations. Young kids, parents and people of all ages have enjoyed her art displays. A competitive figure skater and an honor student, Catalina aspires to be an architecture major and loves giving hugs to her rescue dogs, Gigi and Pablo, and her roommate, Buddy, the hamster.
