Luncheon Thumb

Crews working hard on the new, innovative Little Caesars Arena were treated to a complementary BBQ lunch, a commemorative t-shirt and a shot of encouragement and praise recently.

With just a few weeks until the new sports and entertainment venue debuts, Christopher Ilitch, President and and CEO of Ilitch Holdings, Inc.; Dennis Aguirre, President of Iron Workers Local 25; and Sean Hollister, Senior Project Manager for Barton Malow Hunt White praised nearly 1,000 workers from a variety of skilled trades.

The arena construction project is part of The District Detroit, which will create 12,500 construction and construction-related jobs.

Little Caesars Arena will open on Sept. 12, 2017.
