Google to Join Red Wings, Olympia Entertainment at Little Caesars Arena

The District Detroit will add yet another world-class company to its Woodward Square neighborhood when Google, Inc. moves its Birmingham office to a new office space at Little Caesars Arena this spring.

Teams working on media sales and technical support will move to approximately 30,000-square-feet near Woodward Avenue at 52 East Henry St.

With regards to the move, Danielle Russell and Guy Schueller, co-site leads for Google Birmingham, cited Detroit’s rich history of culture and innovation that the company is excited to join: “Our new space will not only provide room for future growth, but will also give us the opportunity to contribute to the dynamic economic and community activity happening in Detroit.”.

To date, Google has more than 600 employees across offices in Ann Arbor and Birmingham.

Google employees will join more than 200 Detroit Red Wings, Olympia Entertainment and 313 Presents employees that moved into the four-story mixed-use building at Little Caesars Arena last year.

The Ilitch-companies’ employees now work in a separate, 90,000 square-feet office space that features a fitness center, work café, and an outdoor terrace.
