The District Detroit Holiday Happy Hours, Presented by Jack Daniel’s, to be Hosted on Columbia Street

Events will kick off on Wednesday, Nov. 24 with Jack Daniel’s Barrel Tree Lighting; additional happy hours to be held on Dec. 3 and Dec. 18 surrounding events at Fox Theatre and Little Caesars Arena

DETROIT – Eventgoers, visitors and holiday shoppers are invited to attend The District Detroit Holiday Happy Hours, Presented by Jack Daniel’s, on Columbia Street prior to upcoming sports and entertainment events in the district on Nov. 24, Dec. 3 and Dec. 18.

The events will kick off with the inaugural Jack Daniel’s Holiday Barrel Tree Lighting on Columbia Street on Wednesday, Nov. 24, prior to the Detroit Red Wings’ annual Thanksgiving Eve game at Little Caesars Arena. The happy hour will run from 4-8 p.m., while the lighting of the barrel tree, which will remain lit on Columbia Street throughout the holiday season, will take place at 5:30 p.m.

The District Detroit Holiday Happy Hours will all be hosted on Columbia Street, and are free to attend for guests of all ages. The events will feature Jack Daniel’s specialty drinks available for purchase, live music, holiday-themed photo opportunities and more. Heaters will be available for those that may need a quick warm up!

On Friday, Dec. 3, a happy hour will be hosted on Columbia Street (4-8 p.m.) before the Dan + Shay “The (Arena) Tour” concert at Little Caesars Arena, and the Cirque Dreams Holidaze show at the Fox Theatre. Just two weeks later, on Saturday, Dec. 18, the final event will be held from 4-8 p.m., in between the Detroit Pistons vs. Houston Rockets (Noon) and Red Wings vs. New Jersey Devils (8 p.m.) games. It will mark the first-ever NBA/NHL doubleheader at the award-winning Little Caesars Arena.

For guests attending The District Detroit Holiday Happy Hours events, discounted parking at the Fox Theatre Garage (50 W. Montcalm St.) will be available for just $5 by reserving it advance on ParkWhiz.
