*Traffic Advisory* I-75 Closure To Affect Several Events In The District Detroit This Weekend

(DETROIT – February 24, 2022) – Due to the rebuilding of I-75 in Oakland County scheduled to resume on Friday, Feb. 25, guests are encouraged to arrive early and purchase parking in advance in what will be a busy weekend of sports and entertainment in The District Detroit.

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has advised that beginning Friday, Feb. 25, I-75 will be closed in both directions between I-696 and the I-75 Business Loop at Square Lake Road. The freeway will reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 28.

In anticipation of increased traffic due to the closure and concurrent events throughout The District Detroit, guests are encouraged to arrive early and secure advanced parking online at ParkDistrictDetroit.com.
